Consulting

I have extensive experience applying psychological principles and research methods in the workplace, to design a more efficient and effective work environment. This includes elements such as workplace performance, communication, wellbeing and professional satisfaction. This role can involve working with whole organisations, specific teams or individual employees in either short or longer-term basis, creating positive and lasting change for both individuals and organisations.

In addition to my background in psychology, some of my experience and training in this field includes:

Completed a certificate with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) for directors working in the not-for-profit sector covering governance, finance, as well as strategy and risk.

Completed a 12-month Foundation Program in Board Governance, which involved an internship on the board of a large community welfare organisation that provides a range of community services, including residential aged care, individual, family and disability support.

Experience working with organisations at the board and management level, including having the privilege to have served on the board of a number of not-for-profits, including:

  • C Care, a leading community welfare organisation which supports people and families in crisis and transition, who are experiencing food insecurity and social isolation;

  • Aliyah Youth, a welfare organisation that provides emergency accommodation, employment opportunities, mental health services and career counselling to underprivileged youth;

  • Viktor Frankl Institute of Australia, which engages in the research, education and dissemination of Frankl’s Logotherapy in Australia

Invited as a team facilitator at a 3-day retreat with over 50 participants focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration.
